Greeting

On October 1, 2025, the Institute for Future Policy began a new chapter as a member of the Meiho Holdings group.

For more than three decades, we have studied and analyzed the challenges and resources found within local communities from many angles, providing a foundation of knowledge grounded in fieldwork and evidence, from policy recommendations to support for putting them into practice.
That knowledge has been applied in fields as diverse as regional development, industrial strategy and international expansion, and we take pride in having served as a think tank whose work leads to real-world results.

Joining the group gives us a new framework for taking these capabilities further. By working with the broad resources of Meiho Holdings, we aim to widen the scope of our analysis, make our recommendations more effective, and create more lasting value for society.
